This week we successfully completed the factory acceptance test (FAT) of our MIDAS Azimuth Propulsion System and proven that it meets all class requirements. Next phase is that the system will be packed, shipped, installed and tested on board. Next month we will finalize the installation, commissioning and proving trials.
This upgrade will benefit the customer for a lifetime extension of 15 years in terms of its propulsion controls.
