Subsea Connect has successfully completed the factory acceptance test (FAT) for its MIDAS Azimuth Propulsion Control System, confirming full compliance with all class requirements.
With the FAT finalized, the system will now move into the next phase: packing, shipment, installation, and testing on board. Final installation, commissioning, and proving trials are scheduled to be completed next month.
This upgrade is a key milestone in the vessel’s propulsion control modernization and will support a lifetime extension of up to 15 years. It reflects Subsea Connect’s ability to deliver long-term value through tailored retrofit solutions.
